All Done

Well, this has been a good week for me. I finished the afghan that I was working on for my church's spring fundraiser (Cabin Fever). It is a nice little bobble afghan. I am always kind of sad to see a project be completed because they become a part of me, it seems. I feel kind of lost now too, because I don't have an immediate project to be working on. That can get me into trouble some times because I want to go shopping for inspiration ... and I don't need more yarn! Especially if I don't know what it's for!

On Friday I developed a head cold. Not fun. Thank God for generic Nyquil. Sweet dreams, here I come! It is bound to be a quiet night around here anyway because it seems like no one else is in the building. My next door neighbor has been gone since yesterday and it looks like one of the tenants downstairs has moved out. The peace and quiet doesn't bother me a bit.

Some of my friends have mentioned giving something up for Lent. There are a few things that I am considering. Either soda, alcohol .. or possibly some other big challenge. At any rate, it will be something that will take some discipline to give up and whatever it is, I hope it will bring me closer to God.

Today brought more snow and I am sooo fed up. February seems like such a long month sometimes, even though it is the shortest.

Say, Tracy - I have a project for you! Mallory would love a "Tracy Blankie"! I am happy to go yarn shopping for you and make the purchase. Let me know!
