Drum Roll Please ..

I have chosen to purchase an 07 Chevy Impala from the Gustman dealership in Kaukauna. They have been the only dealers that treated me like they would build me a ladder to the moon if I asked. No one else has acted as caring or as genuine. Other people that have gone there (co-workers) highly recommend them and the service department has an excellent reputation. It was a slam dunk.

Unfortunately, the guy buying my truck is home sick today so the very earliest that I could take my truck over to him is tomorrow morning and I am betting that it won't all happen until Monday. That's okay, the hard part is over. I was 99% sure I wanted an Impala all along, but I test drove 5 other cars just to say that I didn't wonder. I tested a Dodge Caliber, a Chevy Malibu, a Chevy Equinox, a Dodge Avenger and a Chrysler Siebring. They all seemed too small. I felt like my other options (size wise) were cars like the Dodge Charger or the Chysler 300C. And those are too big, too powerful and they are RWD. Probably too much car for me.

Enough rambling with the car bizness. I hope everybody is feeling better. I am looking forward to the Super Bowl party on Sunday. I order the sub platter from Cousin's this morning. I will pick it up at about noon on Sunday (that gives THEM a little room to be late - I always leave extra time when ordering food). There will be 20 7 1/2" subs (or 10 15" subs) so there should be plenty of food for everyone.

This has been a crazy week. I think I will enjoy a couple beers tonite.

I'm glad to hear you didn't go with the Dodge Avenger. That was my first lemon, I mean car.

I am glad you finally nailed down a choice. Woo Hoo! Now you can just anticipate getting the new ride. It will be like Christmas all over again for you. New car smell, new car feel, and pretty cool car for a Chevy. Just kidding. It is a nice car. My two aunts have them and they love them. And am exctied for the Super Bowl on Sunday. Ryan and I will be there at 3:00 or so to help get things set up. I will make sure we are there then. ;)
